Harbour In The Community

Each year the employees at Harbour Capital donate food items, toys, and money to Gather, NH located in Portsmouth, NH. Giving back to the community has always been something that HCC strives to maintain each year. This year we had over 150lb’s of canned goods and food items donated, along with a large check and a couple dozen toys.

2021 Summer Sales Internship Program

2021 Summer Sales Internship Class

We are pleased to welcome this years Summer Sales Internship Class of 2021! A few of our interns this summer have worked on a part time basis prior to the summer, and we have a great mix of rising Juniors and Seniors all from the University of New Hampshire to round out the group. The interns have hit the ground running thus far and are poised to have a successful summer. What a great group!
We would like to welcome the class of 2020 to our Summer Internship Program! After a bit of virtual work and a few weeks of delay, we have the biggest group of interns in our office in the history of our program. Our interns will work throughout the summer, learning the in’s and out’s of the equipment finance industry, and will gain insigh from our Senior reps via trainings and various intern modules. We could not be more excited with this group of interns!

Scott Kelley (Senior VP of Credit & Operations) and James Noble (In-House Counsel) attended the 2019 NEFA Ice Fishing & Networking Event on Lake Minnetonka back in January. This event was a great opportunity to meet with many of our partners across the country and have some fun at the same time! James won the “trophy” for pulling the most fish through the ice and left with a nice NEFA Jacket for a memento!
Every Christmas our employee’s donate a large bundle of toys and bikes to the Seacoast Area Firefighters Toy Bank for local families in need. This year, with the help of DICK’S Sporting Goods Community Outreach Programs, we are proud to say we donated 30 bikes along with other toys to the toy bank, our biggest year yet! 2018 Movember Competition

2018 Movember Participants

This November was the first November that the employee’s at Harbour Capital participated in Movember. Movember is a month long fundraiser to help raise awareness for some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.
We are proud to have participated and donated to such an incredible cause, while having some fun with our stache’s!
Our summer internship program is designed to show our interns how we, as a company, value our employees both inside and outside of the office. This is why we love our summer softball team each year because it gives our employees and interns the chance to have out-of-office time and team building that has a lasting impact back in the office as well.
This year was our best team yet, coming up just short of the title in the championship game by a couple runs. Great season everyone!

Every summer, Harbour Capital brings in a new group of interns primarily from the University of New Hampshire. Our interns learn the entire sales process through weekly training modules with our experienced Account Executives and first-hand sales experience.
This year’s interns have been one of the best classes yet, with some very strong candidates for future positions at Harbour.

For over 10 years in a row, Harbour Capital’s employees have donated toys and bikes for the annual bike brigade and toy drive. All donations are sent to the Seacoast Area Firefighters Toybank to help bring joy and cheer to children on Christmas morning in the Seacoast community.

The knowledge that a simple donation to the Toybank can give a child a Christmas to remember warms the hearts of the Harbour Capital employees. We take pride in giving back to our community and look forward to this toy drive each and every year. Not only do our full-time employees take-part in the giving season, but our interns love to donate as well! The photo below is of some of our full-time employees and interns showcasing the 13 bikes donated to the Toybank.

Harbour Capital Donates 100+ Food Items to Gather NH

2017 Gather NH Food Drive

For the 10th year in a row, the team at Harbour Capital collected non-parishable food items to donate to their local food pantry, Gather NH.

Each year, we seek to donate more food items than the previous year, and this year we broke our record with over 100 food items donated from our team.

Giving back to the local community is something that Harbour has been proud to do for over 20 years, especially during the holiday season.

Gather NH provides nutritious food through innovative distribution programs and offers nutrition education and recipes for healthy living. In addition, they work with community partners to address the root causes of hunger.

This past summer, Harbour Capital participated in the UNH Intramural Summer Softball. Although Harbour did not win the championship and cap the season off by hoisting the first place trophy, they had a great season and played their hearts out. Great moments were born from great opportunities this summer and there were definitely a handful of moments that will live on in their memories.

Harbour Capital finished the season 11-8, scoring the second most runs out of any team (299 total runs scored, averaging 14.24 runs/game including playoffs). After losing the first game of the playoffs and being knocked into the loser’s bracket, Harbour battled back by winning 3 straight games. This put them in the loser’s bracket championship where they ultimately lost to their rival Bit’s & Bats.
